Try again many times even if u failed to achieve what u want, cos u never know whether u'll lose until the end.

UPDATE~! I've finally gotten my module in UNDERSTANDING LEARNING AND KNOWLEDGE CONSTRUCTION~! I thought of trying out for minor since my result is not that good. Wanted to minor in something which i would be interested in, and what caught my eyes is minoring in education studies. Since i'm a part time tutor now.. somehow, i think the module would benefit in my teaching skill as well. Not only that, it does not have exams, so i suspect that there would be project or presentation. I don't mind as long as i really got the interest to learn.

I applied last last Monday, but my applications were rejected many many many times. First rejection was because, i've completed the number of General Elective which is required for EEE student. Not only that, they talked about overwhelming demand, and not having more vacancy. I expressed my keen interest again, and while waiting for a reply, i added one Prescribed (another form of extra module outside e core) on the time slot, and once again, was rejected because of clash in timetable. I email again saying i took that prescribed for e sake of taking it and not because i have interest in it, and that i had not went for a single lesson yet, and... she finally replied a YES~!!! She helped my drop that PE and add the GE~!! I'm so happy. Finally. after so many emails of plead and beg. Phew.

The content of e module is as follows:

This module is designed to provide students with an up-to-date presentation and examination of current knowledge in thinking and learning. Key topics covered include theories of intellectual development; the place of thinking skills in teaching and learning; different types of thinking skills; observing, monitoring and evaluating the development of thinking skills; concepts, theories, strategies and instruments for promoting and assessing creative and critical thinking; behavioral and cognitive views of learning; understanding how people learn and how people fail to learn; cognitive and learning styles, brain-compatible learning, motivating and demotivating factors affecting learning; and self as an expert learner-skills and learning strategies. A variety of learning paradigms will also be introduced, especially cognitivism, constructivism, and social constructivism.

Waiting is torturous, but ... getting after e torturous waiting is ... a feeling that could not be expressed in word. I HAVE TO REALLY WORK HARD FOR THIS MODULE~!
