accident

Everything seems fine. Bright sunny sunday. Went service in the morning. Bought lunch for mama when i came home. Mama bring me to work at CK Tang. I was cutting my nails. And then... all of a sudden.... disaster strike.

Ya.. accident. It's those that can be considered minor accident. It happened at the filter lane. I was not the driver, luckily. Mama knocked onto a taxi's bumper. That bumper seems fine. Just a bit of red paint on it. But... that stupid taxi driver keep claiming... "YOU MUST PAY HOR~! THIS ONE NEW CAR OKAY? NOT ONLY PAY FOR FIX CAR MONEY.. ALSO NEED PAY FOR MY LOAN CAR MONEY EH~!".

Hmm.. my dad is a taxi driver for a quite a number of years. He too got his bumper BUMPED on before.. And... somehow.. he said that taxi driver are like that. They are v "tua kang"(big hole), as in... they exaggerate alot... and they also know how to "chao keng"(not much thingy but they demand more payment so as to benefit). Dad said, economy not gd... so... some driver WISHED people to bang on them, so they can stop working for a while, and not having to pay too. The payment they demand is also higher, so that they can gain and of course to fix on parts of the car that is not damaged by that accident.. They would just fixed every other minor problems of the car and demand u to pay the full sum. It's kind of like daylight robbery. My dad's relief driver did that to a poor driver before. Poor thingy... But guess that driver is not that poor. As in.. money wise poor.

Back to e accident. My poor poor old old small car was badly bruised. The bumper dropped a bit. Signal light, which was on the bumper was kind of affected. The right head light glass/plastic cracked. The front cover of the car was pushed back a bit. Glad enough, the engine was not affected. Dad used the chance to repair a dent at the bottom of the car, which was caused by me, knocking on the kerb~! Argh.. Glad..he did not demand payment from me.

I was rather... scared. Because.. a bmw knocked on mum's work van on the same week. That BMW's repair was 200 +... think mum decided to pay her half despite it not being her fault actually. Mum... argh.. i don't know what she is thinking. Argh. Always wanting to take the blame herself. Somehow, we don't even have money to pay for petrol. Dad's saving is less than 500. Argh.. So so.. in this kind of situation, i panicked. I was kinda worried about how they could pay for the repair. Gladly enough, 4D came into the picture. Our car number was in the consolation prize. $500 worth of prize money.. still not sure whether it's enough to pay for all the damage done on the small car, BMW and Taxi. Sigh sigh.

Mum claimed: In the car, there's this buddha thingy. While chatting with mum before the accident, i was telling her about holy communion. I made a lot of reference to this Tang guy who is the owner of CK tang. He is a christian, and a devoted one too. Once, he make sunday a no working day. As in... Tang was closed on every Sun. (Sabbath) Then.. his son took over, and think because it's not v beneficial,so they opened on sun, but, they close early at 830pm. In that departmental store, there's this canteen which sell food for STAFF. There's also this sleeping room where u can rest inside. It's a WOW~!Cant believe they treat staff so nice~! I kinda looked UP to him~! A great role model~! Anyway, back to mama. She said, the buddha is mad at her... and somehow during the accident, she felt as if her soul is not with her. Hmm.. that means, buddha took away her soul so as for her to have that accident to show how mad he is with her. ????? That's what she claimed to me.

So so.. at least all went well. Just wish that e money was enough. Ya.. and one of the conversation with mama on e car, is bout death. Christian cant offer incense stick. If u want to be filial to ya ancestor, do it when they're alive, not when they went to the other world(heaven)! Filial after death is just holding the memory of them close to your heart. Mum was kind of satisfied with the ans. So meaning, if one day, death occurs... i won't be going through with the buddhist funeral. That's final.

This is e 2nd accident i've been in. First being the time before i got my license. My BBDC car got banged onto by a car. Scary experience!And yea.. i finally updated~!
