My greatest happiness in camp: New bond formed. Guys mixed with Gers. They r happy. PS: this entry would have loads of pictures... First day of camp, it was exciting. The day before, most of the GL's reached school to stayover so as to pick up the freshie together. On first look at my OG, i was quite sad, that there's no gd looking guys around. Ice breaking game was okay. The freshies were shy and blur. There's communication while eating, but, guys chatted with guys and gers with gers. We went back to comm hall 12, and played more ice breaking games. Conclusion from all those games, guys r lousy at hand games~! They took real long to learn and to coordinate their hands n legs. Then, it was round-the-campus game. We had to walk from South spine, to North spine, then to South spine and North spine AGAIN n AGAIN... Tiring. When the game is about to end, Xian, another GL who had gastric in the morning, came back to join us. Hmm.. It was at Yunnan Garden. I was so excited to c her again, and i ran towards her, and accident strike~! I tripped and fell~! 2 ankles 2 palms injured. Ouch. Was sent to medic. How great... first casualties of e day, GL~! And it's a stupid fall~! Glad enough, no one fell or was sick for e first day. Other activity for the day: Banner painting n Confidence walk. Slept at 4+am. Day 2: Pool Game, telematch, battle of e houses, mass dance prac, n ghost walk. For telematch, one of my freshie,manling, fainted. Glad that she was fine after resting for a while. Mass dance, GL was supposed to guide the freshie too. haha.. glad enough, nt all guys r slow... Edmund managed to catch e steps, but e partner dancing next to me was funny. My another 2 freshie Shujun n xu cen was having a hard time following. It was cute to guide them along.. hee.. i remembered e days when the GL started learning the dance. The male GL was the one guiding the other GL that always miss e practice session. hehe. Fun to be an instructor. The long awaiting programme for the night was ghost walk. There's some conflicts between the GL during then. Argh.. ANyway, it went on fine. The gers were the smart one.. Manling guessed the whole story when she just went into ONE STATION~! Best~! All went well except e climax station was closed down because of e security guard... Day 3: Beach Game n MORE DANCE PRACTICE First portion of the beach game was okay... Except with me still being pissed with someone. We played alot of games at Sentosa. There's beach game(duh.. stating the obvious)  First pic of the day... How we all looked like before the game starts. Actually, it's no diff... Tehehe.  We took this in e sea. Hmm.. i've forgotten entirely about my wound.. and i went to the SALT WATER and came out with a great sensational feeling. I cried... PAIN~! Glad medic was around~! I LOVE MEDIC~! Anyway, medic is a ger~! Then during the lunch break, we got some time to play some games which could be played in groups. I stayed out of the game.  This is the game of fingers... where u'll lose if five of ya fingers are out. Then there's forfeit which includes the guy.Hmm.. i've forgotten what they used... but they're supposed to be hamburgers. In between each guy, they apply some oil or whatever thingy on them. Ewww..  E last ending game at sentosa was the "GIANT MUA CHI"~! All the freshies are suposed to lie on the sand, and they have to roll from one end to another. The ONE END TO ANOTHER is REALLY LONG~! Those being rolled over felt e pain of some "heavy TRUCK" too~! hehe. Damn funny.  So.. after dinner, it was back to e sch. We GL expected a short day.. but, they used up HOURS to teach e mass dance. My "students" got better~! I'm so proud of them~! hehe. Everything ends late once again... I've forgotten the time i slept, but it's still e longest sleep throughout e camp... 4hrs?Hmm.. Day 4: Nostalgic race(aka amazing race), camp fire night and initiation I was called by the medic to go NTU medical centre while setting off for the race. Glad enough, after seeing the nurse, i managed to join the rest despite nurse's instruction to rest. It was fun, to take so many buses and to run and think and walk and be out of sch. It was fun to just be around my group~! We got last, but then again, we did not really become extreme sad or what. The spirits is high. At least our sister group, FUSION, won~! hehe. The reward: Pizza~! Camp fire night was fun too.. With drag queen show. Entertaining. Cheer fight was loud.. and voice damaging.. After that, they were instructed to change into dirty clothing. Hehehe.. that's e highlight of the night~! They have to walk around blindfolded, with the GL's guiding them. Along the way, they were "decorated" with toothpaste, poster color, flour, left over food and water~! Programmers were having fun making them say funny stuff like..."I love Mary" , "Mary is mine", "Don't snatch Mary from me."  Before they r dirty.  Being sabo by the programmers. Initiation lasted all the way until 6am. They were blind folded and led to nanyang house. Great view of the sky from there~! Hmm.. eye opener~! Anyway, in the end, they RAN back all the way to Hall 13, which is KINDA FAR~! Me n xian walked instead because our leg hurts... Day 5: Secret Pal Day GL's were supposed to play because of the lack of guys in camp. Sigh. We ate lunch, then dressed up. Play some games, then finally meet e SP time. Unlucky enough, i got a gangster SP who always give RUDE remarks. Argh.. furthermore, before that day, i already condemned him. Hee.. Jilline and Peiwen, e other GL frm another grp, were complaining to me bout him~! Then, we have to interact. I shut him off a number of time. I felt so DOWN~!! After that, it was dinner time at Nanyang Audi, in one of e examination hall. They set up e place so well, with door gift, stage and everything. I was happy to slip off when e "IDOL" programme started. Anyway, each grp were supposed to choose one Idol to sing a song. We chose Edmund. After that dinner thingy, we were supposed to go back comm hall 12. THey setted up the place to be like a dancing place selling alcohol too. My group was more interested in singing ktv, so, we went ktv instead. Somemore conflicts within e GL.. but all went fine after that too.  Last day: Photo taking day. I was quite sad that camp gonna end just like that. I missed my freshie already. But i was still glad.. that the end of the day, they have become closer friends.. Just pray hard that their bond with one another won't break just like that.  and last but not least... our last meal ...  Happy: The feeling u get when u c people that u care smile and laugh together...  |
