HK vs S'pore~~

I just got back from HK last night. I have a great time shopping n sight-seeing there. Indeed, it's much better than S'pore. I love e fact that there's hills ( or is that considered as mountain ) that greeted us when we reached the entrance of e airport. It seems as if hills ( or mountains ) surround the country. It's such a pretty sight. I thought about many stuff there. Those below were my thoughts:

Trend: Hk youngsters are extreme trendy. They followed e trend closely n i guess it's e way they dress that make them look like Jap. At first, i thought they're Japanese, but when they started to speak in cantonese, i discovered that they're local. No wonder HK stars are the most popular among chinese population. "If u make it in HK, u'll be known throughout by all e chinese."

Chinese: HK was ruled by e British for years, and somehow, i thought that they would not be that CHINESE, as in they would not follow the same old chinese tradition n culture so closely, but i was totally utterly WRONG. We ate "dim sum" as lunch on the day we touched down at HK. Andrew, Qianni's bf, started to help us wash our utensils with hot water provided. He also told us that we are not suppose to put e food on our plate, instead, we should use e small bowl. Plates are for fish bones, prawn skin n all those sorta stuff. Wow... i was impressed. I usually use the plate as e surface is bigger. We rarely find forks provided with our food, as chinese usually use chopsticks n spoon. That's a culture exchange, n stupidly, it's e same chinese culture. I am kinda ashamed to be a ignorant chinese.

MTR: I've forgotten the whole name of that. It's similar to Singapore's MRT ( mass rapid transport ), which meant train that travel round the island. E interior design is not as pretty, but then, the simple technology left me "wow-ing" away. Inside the train n on top of the door, there's map of the train. It not only show the map, there's light to show where the next station is and e journey of the train. Cool. It looks simple, n it's truly pretty too. They use 2 languages n 2 dialects to make their announcement. Language: Chinese & English. Dialect: Mandarin & Catonese. Nice.

Lastly, i thought of commenting on the air plane staff. We sat United Airline there. The service for the "to" journey SUCKS. The air stewardess gave us the "I'm-not-happy-n-u-better-don't-ask-for-anything-look". Damn. "Excuse me.. we pay for our trip~!" The "back" flight was so much better. It's male that were serving us. I don't get y too.. but the announcement was so damn blur ( not clear). They seems to LOVE to mumble to themselves. Sadly, there's no feedback form, or else i would want to comment on that to them. Wonder whether it's e same for all other flight. My pre-previous flight trip was in the year 1999. How i wish to have a chance to sit Singapore Airline....

On the whole, i love HK.. I was kinda sad when we were about to leave. I quieten down n tried my best to absorb the surrounding sights thoroughly. I cant bear to leave that place, n anyway, i don't have the money to stay longer there. We simply spent too much there. I spent S$670 there, n i am in debt now. Gonna update on my 3 day in my FOD.
