baptism day~~

It's a big step in my christian life. It's like reborning for again. It's nothing like tests and exams. It's a route of no return and no regrets too. It's something i've wanted, and i knew it deep inside me. It's also a ticket for me to serve in the church ministry!

On 26th December 2004, i went to church, late.

I panicked, cause it's my big day, and i've prepared for it for 6mths.

My name was on the handout given by church, n my testimonial printed out in edited form.

It came e time. I was called out. I was asked the 7 questions:
1.Do u acknowledge God to be the only true God,the Creator of all things, and our heavenly Father?
2.Do you acknowledge Jesus Christ to be God's only begotten Son, and that His incarnation, death and resurrection are for our salvation from sin?
3.Do you acknowledge the Holy Spirit to be the Spirit of Truth, who is from the Father and the Son and to be the Comforter who is with believers and in them?
4. Do you acknowledge the Sciptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that they are the supreme standard of a Christian's faith and conduct?
5. Do you acknowledge the Holy Church to have been insituated by the Lord Jesus, and that Christ is Head of the Church and all believers are His members? And do you promise to worship God and serve the Lord with all His members in the fellowship of the Church?
6.Do you promise to give yourself to God as a servant of righteousness, and observe the Lord's day and the Sacraments , and by prayer and Bible study, to make your life holy and to foster your spiritual growth?
7.Do you promise, according as the Lord blesses you with abilities and material possessions, faithfully to serve the Church and society, that God's holy name may be glorified in you?

I answered "yes" to all the questions and was sprinkled with water by Rev Eric Chua, and i got a gift, a teen study bible.

I am finally baptised, n i've became a true christian who could serve the church with the abilities God gave me.

It's a day i won't forget.
