Come to think of it.. i'm always expose to alot of dialects, n i knew none. I only know how to mix different sentence of different dialects i know of together. I am practically trying to make my sentence sounds more like other dialect other than directly using mandarin. Hee~. Back when i was working at e factory, people there used cantonese most of the time.. n whenever they speak, i would try to translate what they said into chinese. It's tough. Now, at my current job, my aunties seem to prefer using hokkien rather than mandarin?? Y is that so?? weep. But glad i could catch what they're saying more easily. I'm more used to listening to Hokkien than Cantonese simply because.. it's my mum's dialect. Dad uses Hainan, which is .. okay for me. I used to know how to speak fluently... but not anymore. Hmm.. since it's such a short entry.. gonna add abit more stuff on a bk i've just completed reading. Highly recommended for novel-lover. It's a danielle steel bk, Kaleidoscope. It's a story of the lives of 3 sisters after they're separated, n finally united. I cried while reading that bk. Guess it's more for people who are more emotional. It's not exactly romance entirely. Try it.. it's sugar-free. |
