Laffy's Bday

Laffy Chen Lai Fei. 8th March 2002. Australia. Corgi. My only love.

Tml is the day... my ah dear bday. Time flies. 4 years passed just like that. I still remembered the first day i saw her at the pet shop... She runs about a lot and likes to lick. The shop keeper scolded her in front of her, then told us we can train her by slapping her. She love to jump alot too. Jump on us, licking us, getting our attention and being that ever cute dog. She was just 4 months old that day.

Dad was kept in the dark. He was told to drive me home, but never did he know he'll drive one more family member back home. Bro just sign on navy then. He got 16K, and therefore he subsidies half. Mum forked in some, my ex $50, and me about $100 or $200. And yes, that dog kind of belong to me from that day onwards~! It was my bday present.

Laffy was given that name because dad wanted something auspicious, so, i just say link Lucky and Money to form LAFFY~! Hehe. And she was with us from then onwards. I was eager to show her to my friends, so, having found a chance when my hks4a ger gang met for basketball at e cc nearby, i brought her along. She had so much fun being the center of attraction. When we reached home, i slept hugging her by my side. And, that was e only time i can sleep with her.

It was the first time i really start caring for an animal. And, finally this pet belong to me. Because she was still young then, and she had not finished her dunno-what injections.. we have to bring her to the vet. Not long after, we found that she had one disease. Some thingy she got from her mum. Her hair dropped alot, untill huge patches appear.. We brought her to the vet again, and e medicine given was those to apply on one. Because she love to lick so much, every medicine time, me n bro would have to hold her down together. She seemed to go through alot of pain not having been able to move by force.

Fortunately, she recovers, but her hair still drop. Seems normal, so we only buy her norishment. Glad.

Laffy was very much like me. Hyper active. Attention seeking. Busy body. haha. Somehow, owner and pet always behave or look alike after living for years.

Each week, dad would bug me to bathe for Laffy, so, i'll bathe WITH her. Being able to get so close to her and clean her thoroughly... feeling was ok. Felt she'll love me more. hehe. actually I know obviously she LOVE me more. haha. I love her too, but at times still lazy to bring her down. Sorry my dearest ah dear.

At times, when i felt down, i'll sit with her. Seeing her always jumping around and ever happy... it cheers me up. I love her so much.



Having a companion is as though having love, comfort and care all in one.
